
Anandi Naipaul is a Partner and Personal Injury Lawyer at Ross & McBride LLP, where she also leads the firm as Chair.
In her practice, Anandi works exclusively on behalf of injured people and their families to ensure they achieve the best possible result after an accident. Her practice is devoted to acting for plaintiffs in a wide spectrum of cases including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, catastrophic impairment, disability insurance, wrongful death, nursing home litigation and medical malpractice.
She applies her deep understanding of relevant systems and legislation to fight for the rights of her clients. Using a people-first approach to personal injury law, her clients benefit from her keen ability to listen and understand their challenges.
Anandi has appeared as Counsel before many levels of Ontario courts and has extensive experience advocating before various boards and tribunals. She is a member of the Hamilton Law Association, Hamilton Club, OTLA and Ontario Bar Association, is a Past Board member for the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, Past President of the Hamilton Medical-Legal Society, Past President of the Hamilton Lawyers Club, and Past Chair of the Lawyers Legacy for Children. She is currently a member of both the Hamilton Law Association and the Ontario Bar Association. Anandi is also a proud member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Tiger Town Council.
As Chair of the firm, Anandi is focused on building equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives that benefit Ross & McBride’s lawyers, staff, and clients. Looking to the future, she also prioritizes embracing technologies that will modernize client service while making legal services more accessible for people who need them.
Anandi grew up in Ancaster and received her Bachelor of Arts degree at McMaster University before obtaining her law degree from the University of Leeds in England in 2001. She was called to the Bar in 2003 and has practiced at Ross & McBride for nearly 20 years.
In addition to her passion for helping her clients, Anandi enjoys golfing, playing the piano, skiing, practicing yoga and spending time with her husband and two daughters. She is an avid lover of the arts, music, and dance, and is a season-ticket holder of the Hamilton Tiger Cats.
