Jen is a passionate, highly experienced learning and people development professional who has spent the last 10+ years leading learning and development strategy. She has a proven track record of designing solutions that align people development to organizational effectiveness, growth and culture.
With a Master’s in Adult Education focused on workplace learning as well as extensive professional experience in all aspects of learning strategy, performance consulting, instructional design, and curriculum development, she brings a well-developed and impactful approach to leading learning and development that is anchored in core principles and best practices, and honed by a depth and breadth of experience. Her background in learning and development includes both internal roles, as well as external consulting on a wide range of projects for national and global organizations in a variety of industries in both the public and private sectors. She currently works as the national Manager, Learning & Development at Gowling WLG.
In addition to her professional work, Jen works as a committee member and mentor with Girls E-Mentorship (GEM), – a non-profit organization offering a research-based mentorship program for high school girls facing socioeconomic barriers to build their professional skills and achieve their academic and career potential.
Jen has had the privilege of working with and for some amazing women colleagues and leaders throughout her career, and knows the power of being connected to a broader community of supportive and ambitious women. She is delighted to be involved with the Women’s Network as a member of the planning committee and co-host for in-person and virtual events.
