Martin Waxman, MCM, APR, writes a popular Digital Marketing Trends newsletter, leads social media training workshops, and conducts AI research. He’s a LinkedIn Learning instructor, co-founder of two agencies, and president of a consultancy. He’s also a member of the Institute for Public Relations Digital Media Research Center and the Schulich Future of Marketing Institute. Martin teaches digital strategy and social media at the York Schulich School of Business and McMaster University, and regularly speaks at events across North America. Martin received the Institute for Public Relations Best Master’s Thesis Award in 2019 and the Canadian Public Relations Society’s Outstanding Achievement in PR Award in 2020. He has a Master of Communications Management from McMaster-Syracuse Universities.

My advice for Summit attendees
Don’t be afraid to say yes to a project you’re unsure how to do. Instead, approach the challenge with curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset and teach yourself how to do it. That’s a good way to acquire new skills.
