Category

Stefanie Bonazza is the Lead of Municipal Government Relations at Alectra Utilities, Canada’s largest municipally-owned utility. Stefanie manages relationships with 17 municipalities across Alectra’s service territory, overseeing various strategic plans surrounding capital projects, economic development and municipal sponsorships. Stefanie has worked in various Government Relations roles for the past 14 years, becoming a trusted advisor to senior executives, government officials and energy industry leaders. Her propensity for building strong, productive relationships, and providing quality advice while staying true to her core values of integrity and honesty have made Stefanie highly respected by colleagues and peers across the utility industry and beyond. Stefanie is also proud to sit as a member on the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce’s Women In Niagara (WIN) Council, alongside many amazing women who are working to lift each other up across the Niagara Region.

When she isn’t solving complex energy-related issues for elected officials, you will most likely find Stefanie in a hockey arena, cheering on her 9-year-old son, Jonathan… and her 6-year-old son, Anthony. On the off-chance that she is not at a kids’ hockey game, Stefanie enjoys finding new recipes to cook and exploring the Niagara Region, where she has resided with her husband Joe and two sons for over 10 years.
